The package I received was torn and only contained the red brush so I can only look at it. This CAN be useful on a motorcycle but I can say straight away that this is not suitable for use on a bike chain. The three-sided end of this red brush has two opposite sides that are about 3/4 inch apart, so I'd have to work the brush at an angle to get both sides of the chain. I think I'll just throw it away. Most of the chain cleaners I work with on my various bikes grab the chain and force me to pedal slowly to feed the chain through the brush mesh and generally into a contained cleaning solution. . The key here is that the brush/brushes remain stationary while the chain is moving and this will prevent the chain from ripping off the front sprockets and rear sprockets. Such devices are widely available for about $20.
