The stem puller does not fit perfectly on the Presta stem and rounds it off if you are not careful - in my experience, typical import tool quality. Who knows if the cores are good. They seem like that. Of course I'm comparing this tool to several of the park deroding tools I have and a Stans so the standard is pretty high and this one pretty cheap. I change my rods every year and refill Stans in the spring. The Presta cores are sticking together and the bottom seal is leaking. So save yourself the hassle on the trail and go get it. or something like that.
