Review on Outdoor Hexagonal Fire Pit With Flame-Retardant Mesh Lid - 24 Inch Wood Burning Bonfire Steel Firebowl For Backyard, Patio, Garden, Beach, Camping, And Picnics By F2C by Luis Mercado

Nothing beats a real fire in a firepit

This is actually the second one I bought. Originally, I found this in a local fireplace store and really liked it. I used it for a year and had to replace the top - which I did from the manufacturer. After two years, it completely fell apart. Now.FULL DISCLOSURE.I did not even begin to take care of it. It sat out in the elements for two years.and while I wouldn't consider this to be heavy duty.I can't expect it to withstand a year of heavy wet ashes sitting in the firepit. So when I bought this one, I also bought a cover for it to protect it from weather. We'll see if that does the trick and allows me to keep it for than one season. Assembly is not difficult, but this one seems a little bit off in that the top doesn't fit as nicely on the base as the prior one - but the issue is not bad enough for me to do anything about. The price I got from ebay is much better than from the brick n' mortar fireplace store. Haven't they figured out they can't over charge for things we can easily buy online? I think this is a good purchase.
