The device is exceptionally quiet. I also got an EF error code when setting it up, but my wife found the answer in the Auto Shutoff section of the guide, page 6, sub point 2. Why was there too much water in the base since I just set it is a question. a mystery, but removing the tray and flipping the init to clear the bottom solved the problem. Otherwise it works as advertised. US number 800 would be helpful!
