**First test 12/30/2019**After several hours of research I received the K596 Vishnu and I'm immediately more than enthusiastic. I have paired it with several HyperX Double Shot caps. This keyboard has everything I was looking for: TKL, macro keys, red switches, super customizable lighting, side lighting, and media controls. all at a great price. The good thing is that it's heavy and has a great looking base and doesn't move during an intense gaming session. I like the fact that you can set the LEDs to many different colors and effects, down to the color of each key, apart from the top macros and media keys (as far as I know). There's even white and the ability to turn it off. The red switch version I chose is much more responsive and smooth than the brown buttons I use and is now my favorite switch type. Media control works great. I can pause video or stream with media pause/play button. There is a small LED backlight on the sides of the keyboard, which can also be set to solid colors or rainbows with additional effects. You can use this keyboard wirelessly if you want. The keyboard feet actually make a noticeable difference, which I really appreciate. Finally, the craftsmanship behind this keyboard feels great. I can already tell that this thing was built to last. That's what I like about Redragon. The first mechanical keyboard I bought was a Redragon red LED backlit keyboard which I bought for $20 and it took me two years to decide I wanted something with more colors . I'm very happy with my purchase and can't stress enough how awesome it is (: The only personal downside of this keyboard for me is the presence of forced red LED lighting for the media and macro keys on top. My color theme is usually with something other red so it doesn't bother me too much the only thing I would like to mention is that I would love to see a more expensive Redragon TKL "Esports" series like this with Discord and game integration *Nudge* *Nudge** *Review updated 1st July 2020**I still love this keyboard but I'm deducting a star for two reasons. The first is that after about ONE month of use I noticed some of my keys didn't activate when I pressed them. Now after 6 months I had to replace at least 15 switches. The replacement fixes the problem. I'd happily pay an extra $20-40 for better switches. Anyone who buys a keyboard like this it becomes obvious don't use it much and need good switches. Regardless of this keyboard and the price, even with the best switches swapping out, it was worth it as it has everything I was personally looking for. The second reason I deducted a star is that the macro LEDs on the right suddenly turned green. I can't change them with the software or the keyboard itself. I believe this is a software issue and have reported it to Redragon but have not yet received a response on this. I've enjoyed this keyboard for 6 months but can't say I would buy it again if they didn't make a version. with reliable switches.
