Let's get the simple facts about this keyboard

Fact 1: G1-G5 macro keys do not work wirelessly. They only work when connected to a computer. An interesting situation considering that the G6 - G10 worked wirelessly. I can't understand the logic Redragon used to limit G1-G5 to only work in wired mode. Stupid is a good word to describe Redragon's decision to restrict keyboard macros. Why Redragon? Why? Why? Fact 2. Additional functions F2, F3 and F6-F8 are redundant. These keys have dedicated keys — Previous, Play/Pause, Next — and a volume…

Avoid this keyboard and look for another one

Overall I don't recommend this keyboard for beginners or anyone in general. Here is my experience.1. Cheap Switches Outemu's switches were very poor and flimsy. While they are hot-swappable, I wouldn't recommend unplugging them as you will damage them. Actuation is also pretty bad.2. Cheap Keycaps Removing the keycaps with the included keycap remover will scratch the sides of the keycaps. Leads me to believe these are not PBT shot caps. In general, they look very flimsy and cheap.3. A…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Long delivery time

TLDR: For $80 there are better wireless alternatives that come with infinitely hot-swappable switches (requires Outemu brand switch, other switches can only work with modification of real metal contacts). It's only wireless via a 2.4GHz dongle, while most keyboards in this price range support Bluetooth. While the construction is heavy and beautiful, it's mostly plastic, unlike most metal constructions at this price point. If I knew then what I know now, I would have bought a Keychron keyboard…

Long battery life - PC

This keyboard is awesome! The only real downside is that the software isn't wireless, so you'll need to connect it to use it. Otherwise I love everything about it! Especially battery life. I've had this board for about a month now and I haven't charged it yet. I turned off the side light and reduced the backlight brightness to a minimum. Update: After owning this keyboard for about half a year I can say that it definitely has two big issues that are worth demoting stars from my top 5. -Rating…

Great keyboard: PC

**First test 12/30/2019**After several hours of research I received the K596 Vishnu and I'm immediately more than enthusiastic. I have paired it with several HyperX Double Shot caps. This keyboard has everything I was looking for: TKL, macro keys, red switches, super customizable lighting, side lighting, and media controls. all at a great price. The good thing is that it's heavy and has a great looking base and doesn't move during an intense gaming session. I like the fact that you can set the…
