recently bought a Mac mini (2011 edition) with 2GB of RAM. Although it worked normally, I could tell it was a bit sluggish in applications like Lightroom. I was originally going to upgrade the RAM to 8GB through Best Buy, but decided to check out Revain first. I found this 16GB RAM kit about $30 more expensive than 8GB sticks. Lots of good reviews and my previous experience with Corsair Value RAM gave me confidence that there was a good chance of success. I received the RAM a day after ordering! Love Revain's free two-day shipping, especially if it arrives within a day! The package was a simple padded notepad-sized envelope that was easy to open. The RAM itself was easy to open with a single packet cut out with scissors - none of that ridiculous heat-sealed non-openable nonsense. Replacing the RAM was a simple task, just power off, unplug the cable, unscrew the bottom cover. plate, gently spread the pins holding the stem, pull out one stem and repeat the same for the next. Installing the new RAM was just as easy: insert the bottom joystick, then push down to install it and do the same with the top joystick. The computer started normally and I immediately noticed that the speed was better. I'm running Mountain Lion and the trackpad gestures were smooth and fast. I checked the About This Mac window and it saw all 16GB. I am currently using MEMTEST OSX and cannot find any issues. Super tasty and easy! Couldn't be more annoyed. I will update if I encounter any problems.
