Review on SpecPDM by Jeff Arellano

The ease of use, the ability to store all required data in one place. It does not have too many features yet but it's being built for years now so I guess we can expect more improvements in future releases. So far so good - no significant issues at this stage. We are using specpdm to keep track of our hardware components like motherboards, memory modules etc., as well as software licenses used by employees within my company. In addition to that there was also need to organize test environments to simulate production environment conditions. There were other solutions on offer which would have been ideal if they included some sort of cloud integration (e.g. Google Drive) however those did not include any provisioning or configuration tools such as specpdm. Specpdm has helped us to solve these problems very effectively without having to go through lengthy paperwork processes.
