We loved rabbit aerators so much we have been buying them for years. Recently, however, we have noticed a sharp drop in their quality. The first probably lasted us about two years before wearing out, which we were glad about considering how much wine we drink. The next time I bought it, the plastic stem in the bottle broke after about six months. However, we thought it might just be an accident, so we ordered two more. Both had the same downside: they didn't stay in the bottle. We pushed them in and went to pour the wine and the whole aerator fell out meaning wine was everywhere. When the first one did it a few times I just threw it in the trash. Then the second did the same. One night I lost about 1/3 of a bottle of a fine Italian Amarone and immediately decided this aerator was going to join its brother in the bin. It's a shame to see what used to be such a good product. Failure due to poor workmanship. Only buy if you don't mind spilling wine everywhere.
