I have a set of Maxtrax and Pinto and they seem to be a bit more durable and flexible. When folded, they take up little space and can be used as leveling mats for your truck. You can also place them on items that have steps instead of planks that you risk breaking. Haven't used them in mud yet but they have worked well for me in sand and rocks.
