I bought this model to replace the movement in an old school clock. I even bought the recommended AA carbon batteries. Since the watch has a glass dial, it took some maneuvering to get all the parts working. We set the time, installed carbon batteries and the clock started working. The used hand did not "hang" on the glass and kept the time perfectly. Unfortunately I put the batteries in at 2:30pm and at 10:10pm on the same day it stopped working. I emailed the company asking for advice on a solution, but have not received a response. Since this was a $10 purchase and I love the watch hands that go with it, I probably won't be asking for a refund, but I won't be ordering from this particular company again.
