I didn't want to buy a robot vacuum for years because it looks so stupid bumping into everything and I underestimated its cleaning ability. However, I have a new roommate with a dog that "sheds" every day! It's impressive how much hair is still on the floor after a day. Manual vacuuming gets the job done, but honestly it's too much work if it has to be done on a daily basis. I got tired of it and took advantage of the Black Friday deals. I decided to get this because of all the technology. After the first run I was very impressed with how well it did its job and how little it hits objects thanks to its lidar and 3D object detection camera. I have it vacuumed twice a day and now I can enjoy barefoot at home and dog hair doesn't stick to my feet. It was one of those purchases that I liked.
