Review on 🔧 Hakko A1007 1.6mm Desoldering Nozzle by Bobby Posner

Can't say much about this tip other than it's great for large lines and Hakko desoldering tips seem to last forever with proper care. For reference here are the different disassembly bits that fit my 808: A1002, A - 0.8mm, B - 1.8mm, A1003, A - 1.0mm, B - 2.0mm, A1004, A - 0.8mm, B - 2.3mm, A1005, A - 1.0mm, B 2.5mm A1006, A 1.3mm, B 3.0mm A1007, A 1.6mm, B 3.0mm A is the inner diameter of the tip and B is the outer diameter of the tip. A tip with the same ID but a larger OD will transfer heat faster due to the larger contact area between the tip and the board, but this may not be ideal when working with closely spaced leads. I use the A1005 for most things but sometimes I need the larger A1007.
