Review on πŸ’‘ Chunzehui F-1005 9 Port 40A Power Splitter Distributor Strip, 1 Input and 8 Output Connector Source by Mark Greenwood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great build - recommended (but don't expect Anderson Powerpoles)

I really wanted to buy a West Mountain Radio RIGrunner 8012 to distribute 13.8V/70A for stuff around my cabin, but it's closed expensive - $179.95 WMR folks we want to buy the US but come on! (By the way, Gigaparts sells the WMR 8012 on Revain for $225.38 and on their website for $189.90! Damn, that's mean.) Anyway, two Chunzehui F-1005 8 Port 40A units have similar functionality , but only 16 Powerpole sockets available compared to 12 in the WMR 8012. And that's about half the price. The Chunzehui units are VERY well built (I checked carefully inside and out), solid metal body and overall a very professional finish. This is a good choice to save money. if you don't mind having over/under voltage comparators and alarms that are part of the WMR device. However, to address some previous comments: 1. Chunzehui does NOT use original Anderson Powerpole connectors, instead using Chinese manufacturer's AITM connectors. (At least that's the case with the two devices I received - see photo.) However, they look the same and many reviews report no problems with them. They perfectly match their American counterparts (Anderson Powerpoles).2. The reverse screen printing issue that plagued one of the batches made has apparently been fixed. The ones I received were perfect.
