The packaging left the box with a small bruise on one corner but I needed something that day and it wasn't too bad so I kept it. The most annoying thing is that the dividers are pretty tiny for a quality packaged tea bag. The old-style Lipton fits well, but if you're drinking fancy stash tea or the like, the baffle is too small, preventing the lid from closing completely. Damn. I don't get the glass plate idea either. I mean, I don't have to pre-select the tea before opening the lid, so I'd rather have something savory for my cupboard shelf, something to put something else on if needed. Or put it on its side so it doesn't take up as much space. I'm glad I have this item, but it could be a lot better.
