Review on Lite-Flite Baseball and Softball Machine by JUGS by Elton Luo

Ordered this for my 8 year old AAA player who wanted to work on both hitting and playing. He's primarily a catcher, so he wanted to practice catching and blocking as well. It was exactly what he wanted. He and I did diligent research and compiled feature lists for many different models. We both agreed that this car seemed too cool, and we weren't wrong. He is in love with his pitching machine and was able to build it himself. It's light enough to carry to and from our garage, and it was easy to plug in a couple of extension cords. At first we had reservations about using it without the battery, but now that we've tried it we'll stick with the mains connection as it's not a problem. He is saving for a feeder so now I or his sisters feed him balls to hit him which is very easy. Moving the machine to make small adjustments is also very easy, and all the components seem built to last. We were very happy with the ease of use. It's also great for handling popups. The only thing I'd like to say is that even after you've got the machine set up exactly where you want it, sometimes there are pitches that just aren't right. I understand that this is to be expected from something like this and that it's also more than what he'll see in game, but sometimes I adjust the angle just to miss the mark even more. I think the accuracy of the machine is determined to some extent by how you bowl. But in general we were happy with the accuracy. disappointed if you take the plunge and buy this. My son recently made some friends and this machine keeps them busy for hours and requires very little input or assistance from me. If it's easy enough for a third grader to ride but great for my 30-year-old brother, then it's definitely a machine with a lot of appeal and versatility. I'm already seeing an improvement in his shots. We are very happy with this purchase and look forward to using it for many years to come.
