It's a toy but it's a nice little car. Attention, it is almost impossible to create panels on this machine. Patients take a long time and very slowly to make sure the yarn stays where it's supposed to be and then it still gets tangled. The curve isn't smooth, it grabs every few curves, it feels like the plastic is sticking in places. Also very loud. There were no instructions on how to assemble the legs. "Works" really only with athletic weight or size 3 US thread. Pros: Hats and scarves are very easy to make with a tube once you learn how to thread. As you can see, there are more disadvantages than advantages here. I understand that it takes time to understand something, but it shouldn't take months for something to work and create panels when advertised to perform its intended function, especially since it's a children's toy. I highly recommend watching a YouTube video to understand how it works. Maybe I'm just not that inept at making a proper panel.
