I am a traveling photographer and I travel a lot with my camera. I was looking for something to hold my 5D3 w 70-200 with an Arca mount and this was my first tripod head to fit the mount. I was very happy when I first received this device as it worked very well when traveling and held the weight very well. Fast forward 4 months and the ball head is starting to accumulate dirt and grit inside the unit and the friction grip is starting to lose strength. Fast forward to today where the friction knob on the ball head has completely come loose. The grip has a few scratches but it has completely detached from the screw it was attached to rendering the tripod head unusable. Now I can't even remove the screw that is stuck in the tripod. I sent my old BHD0 and two weeks later they sent me a new/refurbished one. Talking to their support team was very awkward as they didn't tell me where to ship the faulty unit until I asked. I was also never told that a new ball head would be delivered, it just came as a surprise in the mail. The current plan is to use this ballhead along with my ArcaSwiss ballhead and see how long it lasts!
