Installation is very similar to a traditional shock but you have an air duct with a simple clip (remove clip) and an electrical connector. Place the clip back onto the airline connector and it simply snaps onto the new one. The only issue I had was that the top mounting bolt in my Tahoe has very little play so it was a bit tricky to swap out, otherwise it's as easy as any other shock. Now the truck drives MUCH better! It feels like buying. Just make sure it's the right damper for your vehicle; If yours doesn't have an airbag and sensor wire, it probably doesn't (and you can get a much cheaper shock absorber!) My truck has a "Magneride" option, which means the shock absorbers aren't cheap.
