It makes beautiful checkered breads

This batter makes the most beautiful checkered bread cake. Maybe it's because it's my first. The non-stick part wasn't as non-stick, however. I sprayed it the first time I used it but it took a while and the cake still didn't come off freely. The second time I oiled it and dusted it with flour, but it still stuck to the pan. I had to wait for it to cool completely to take it out. Then it was nonstick!
