This product was sent to me by the company for an honest and objective review. When I first opened the package I was a bit scared so I asked my husband to try it first. He said it wouldn't work so I waited and tried it myself. The first time I used a wine corkscrew it worked as advertised! The cork came out intact and the bottle opened in seconds. Why am I pleasantly surprised? Most wine bottle openers require more force than me. Traditional corkscrews are too difficult for me to open a bottle, so I bought an electric corkscrew. If only I had known about As So Wine Opener beforehand, I would have directed it! The best thing is an intact cork: you can re-cork the bottle and the wine stays fresh. A wine corkscrew is heavy compared to its appearance as it is made of durable metal. It even comes in a small suitcase. The only downside I see is the ease of instructions. On the back of the case is a quick 3-step guide that some people may not follow. While I could easily understand it, my husband could not understand it.
