I really wanted to like this set and I probably would have picked it if it weren't for all the factory defects. All 3 pots and frying pan lg are damaged - 4/6 pieces are damaged (5 defects in total). The 3.4 l pot is very out of round, the lid does not fit (photo in the test report). 2.0 liter jar - not round, lid doesn't fit (I didn't realize until I was packing everything for return). 1.5 liter pot - non-stick, bare metal (review photo). Frying pan 11 " - the hob was damaged before applying the non-stick coating, the spatula sticks to it (photo in the review). Plus weld spatter (shine) on the edge. All this is a factory defect, not a commodity one. I tried one To show photo of any major defect. I was really disappointed. This could be a good set. But these sets are either sold at a slight discount on purpose (without notifying the buyers) OR there is no quality control at the factory OR the company is no matter that they sell defective products and frying pans, its not worth trying a second time and ending up with another return fee and even more waiting time for customers i think this would be a great set BUT like it it isn't Pots and Lids Cons = Doesn't stack very well for storage, Poor quality control as 66% of pots and pans are severe have defects. Wouldn't recommend it to friends, certainly not as a gift. The odds of getting a quality set are worse than flipping a coin. Not worth the risk (for me). But good luck to those willing to take the risk. UPDATE: I have been contacted by NutriChef Support. They refunded the entire purchase price via PayPal very quickly, so I had to create a PayPal account (which I didn't want to do). And they send me replacement PCs. I don't have to pay for the return shipping. NutriChef seems to care about customer satisfaction, or at least no bad reviews. I will update this review again after I receive new replacement parts and have a chance to try them out. UPDATE #2: I received a new replacement kit. The two pans are (very) slightly out of round, but the lids still fit, so no big deal. So far the non-stick coating works well, but I haven't tried the real scrambled egg test (I'll let you know). The support guy was a pain and seemed more interested in not having bad reviews than good ones. product but he refunded the purchase price and sent a replacement kit. So all good. There was a one star rating but since customer service took care of the issues I changed it to three stars. Would have been four stars except the first set was unusable and the support rep had to be transferred to another department. UPDATE #3: I've had the opportunity to use all of the utensils for different types of cooking. I must say. I am very happy. One of the best nonstick tests is scrambled eggs. Now my cookware is in new condition but I have cooked scrambled eggs and pancakes without oil and oil and they have not burned at all. Even pancakes slid right out of the pan. ** Would be a 5 star rating though. * 4/6 pieces of the first set had serious manufacturing defects. * Had to create a PayPal account to get a refund. * The support guy was rude, pushy and a bit hateful. * 2+ weeks to receive a replacement piece. But everything was taken care of and now I am very happy with the dishes.
