Overkill for 1 cup of coffee

This is an excellent press that is best used for brewing at least 12 ounces of coffee. It's durable and the filter is very thin - I never put coffee in my drink. I usually make a shot of espresso and the container is too big - the plunger doesn't seem to reach the bottom of the container. I wish I had thought about it and bought a smaller size. but it's up to me
