Ever since I moved to a new area where water quality is an issue (I mean, there's no way I would drink tap water in NYC, lol), I've been looking for a countertop water conditioner to upgrade your Brita kitchen Jug. drinks alkaline bottled water for drinking, but always uses purified water for cooking or other purposes. There were several options in this price range, but I chose this one for its sleek, modern design and I like to try new things before anyone else because it's good. And it was a success! This cleaning system is just perfect for what I wanted. First off, just like the Brita-Krug, you don't need any installation at all. When unpacking, simply empty the container, fill with water, done! You simply push on the fresh water tank until it clicks and then it starts to work. You just have to touch the LED screen to dispense water. The instruction manual is very well written so you won't have any problems setting it up. When the water is hotter than 60 degrees, the child lock function will be activated to prevent children from getting hurt, so you have to press and hold for 3 seconds to pour the water, although I don't need it. What a great feature to put parents at ease. Not only does it look great, its elegant design makes it slim, but it doesn't take up much space either. More importantly, the housing looks like it's made out of quality material and not the cheap plastic you often see on other filtration systems. It also surprisingly takes a lot less time to filter an entire 1 liter tank than a Brita jug. I was really impressed with how quick it was so I made a video to share with potential buyers how long it took. great too and our water tastes great now and we're sure we can use it to eat. So far I'm very happy with my choice. I know some other similar filter systems sold at Revain have some durability issues. So I will definitely update my durability rating after using it for some time or if it fails unexpectedly or sooner than expected.
