I had high hopes for this, as did my son. We really wanted it to bounce and help him react to ground balls, but it rolls like a normal ball. We tried everything to get him bouncing left and right but nothing we did, could make him do it. After a while we both tried, and so did my neighbor, we gave up and used a regular baseball.
