Review on Fosmon A1602 RCA Splitter: Connect 3 RCA Output Devices to TV with 3-Way Audio/Video Switch Box & Cable by Chris Russell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Low height is convenient for audio and video accessories

This device worked well. There is a 3-position slide switch on the top. He doesn't move far, but does his job. I had to move and twist the RCA plugs a bit to get them into the RCA jacks. The colored center insulators are a bit tight at first - don't force them. I recommend testing this with an ohmmeter and a second RCA patch cord. Check the complete integrity of the center conductors and all ground shields. Also check that all inputs are completely muting non-selected channels. My test went well. There are 4 small Phillips screws to open the device if needed. I did not have to. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." A curiosity is the silkscreen "R" - "L" (right-left) which only outputs backwards but works perfectly electrically. Instead, pay attention to the color of the center insulators, which were all correct.

Pros
  • Compatible with all devices that use RCA inputs such as B. TV.
Cons
  • Big and bulky
