Review on πŸ—„οΈ OUUO Heavy Duty Storage Organizer for Effective Organization by Elijah Pope

Really "hard work ". READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL

Minor inconsistencies/mistakes first: 1. The accompanying instructions state that the rack weight limit is 50lbs. The online description says 60 pounds. It would be nice if the seller clarifies.2. The online description says "EASY INSTALLATION". Quick and easy to assemble, our garage tool hooks are suitable for plaster, wood, brick and concrete walls. The kit includes all mounting hardware and installation instructions. Not true. The only one Hardware included is for stud wall mounting Nothing for brick, concrete or cavity walls (e.g. stucco if not attached to a stud) If installing anything other than stud wall you will need your own equipment and additional tools. Some of these are mentioned in the accompanying instructions, but that is not what you use to make a purchasing decision.3. In the online description, there is an item "GARAGE, BASEMENT, OUTDOOR USE. OUUO wall shelves can be used in various places - garage, basement, shed, shop, kitchen. With a drill and screwdriver handy, you can quickly lift a metal frame.” Again, not true. You don't need a screwdriver, but you will need some other tools. A drill/screwdriver is not absolutely necessary, but certainly well suited for driving in tie rods. You will need at least two drill bits, 13/64 and 3/16. When installing over drywall, a few other bits may come in handy to find the exact center of the studs. However you install the anchor bolts, you will need a 1/2 inch head, preferably a deep one. 4. The first picture in the product description is terribly misleading. a similar tool in hangers, except when dealing with miniatures. The width between the teeth is only 2 inches. I've never seen a pickaxe or ax handle less than 3-4 inches wide. Terribly misleading. Now for the good. I put my hangers up in the shed with the rivets sticking out. Makes the job super easy. Make sure you hang the tools you are going to hang at the correct height. The included instructions are pretty good. If you don't want to find the center of the stud under the drywall, you can watch a few YouTube videos to make it easier. While the listed weight limit is either 50 or 60 pounds, I've found the racks to hold more. I wouldn't put a 150 on a trestle over my bed, but it's ok in the shed. The posts are powder coated and the finish looks nice with no scratches etc. I have not seen any info on where the posts are made. It would be nice if it was in the US, but I highly doubt it. Despite the inconsistencies and such, I really like these hangers. They seem to help me organize my shed better and they seem to be of good quality. I recommend them
