Review on Zojirushi Thermal Serve Carafe: 1.0 Liter Capacity, Japan-Made Quality, Polished Stainless Steel by Carrie Stolhanske

It came disassembled at first. Not sure if it should have been disassembled or if it fell apart during shipping hence one star. My husband was able to put it back together so we decided to use it and see how it works. There are three black dots inside the container, see one of the photos. I soaked the device in hot soapy water and those three dots didn't seem to go away. Didn't deduct a star as we're not sure if it's supposed to be three or not. Another star deducted for the cover. It's not completely tight, if we tilt it, water will drip. We're very surprised at how long it keeps the liquid hot. We boiled the water in the evening and the next morning it was still hot, I can say with confidence that it will stay hot for 12-24 hours. For this reason, notwithstanding the above, we keep the product. However, you should contact customer service to see if the three black dots are normal. Will update this review when I get an answer.
