Review on Borosilicate Glass Water Pitcher with Secure Lid and Bonus Brush - Pykal's Christmas Edition (68Oz) by Ron Patel

Tea straight from the kettle into the pot

Since our scientists can't decide if plastic is good for us, I looked for an inexpensive glass jug to make iced tea out of. I used to have a plastic one that had to be filled with ice to mix with hot water, but that meant I always needed half a pound of ice. When I found out there was a special pot for boiling water, I was hooked. We really liked the pitcher and became best friends until one day I was going to get the pitcher out of the fridge and it started splashing all over the place from the bottom. It didn't hit anything, a piece just fell off and scattered everywhere. At this point I was confused because the glass just won't break without hitting something. Instead of playing scientist or writing a bad review (I've had the product for about 8 months), I decided to contact the seller. In short, I worked with the seller and he responded very quickly. They explained some of the reasons why this might have happened, aside from confirming what they are selling and agreeing to ship a replacement product. I would recommend this product without hesitation, but especially the seller.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
