This is a beautiful but dangerous glass jar. It arrived well packaged but after just one use the handle broke in my hand and the jug was EMPTY when I took it out of the sink after washing my hands. If the handle were to break when the pitcher is full, it would result in an awful mess and shards of glass flying everywhere (imagine someone standing barefoot in the kitchen).
