This is a beautiful but dangerous glass jar. It arrived well packaged but after just one use the handle broke in my hand and the jug was EMPTY when I took it out of the sink after washing my hands. If the handle were to break when the pitcher is full, it would result in an awful mess and shards of glass flying everywhere (imagine someone standing barefoot in the kitchen). Therefore this product is dangerous. I do not recommend it to anyone. **Revised March 6, 2019** I spoke to the seller who was quick to respond to my query and refunded the broken jug. The seller assumes that the handle was damaged in transit. It could very well be, I just don't know and don't want to risk breaking the handle again. I have decided not to order this item again but I recommend the seller who is responsive and quick to act.
