Review on Motion Pro Air Pressure Tire Gauge - 0 to 60 PSI Optimization by Don Acevedo

Inaccurate and leaking

When I received the gauge there was liquid leaking into the bag. It's always 1.5-2psi lower than all my other gauges. I am reaching out to Motion Pro regarding this and will update you when I hear from you. Update: I sent it back to Motion Pro and was told everything was fine and the reading was within spec and that I should verify the accuracy of another gauge that I am using as a reference. A few weeks later I received the sensor back. I can tell they took the gauge apart because there is tape on both ends of the hose to seal the threads. That looks ugly! The manometer is heavily leaking. Half the liquid is gone. I wonder why they haven't done anything about it. And it's still 1.5-2psi compared to my other tire gauges. Now the most interesting. Should I test the accuracy of my other sensors I'm using for comparison as suggested by the guy at Motion Pro? Of course I can. All I have to do is contact Intercomp, Longacre, Accu-Gage and Auto Meter (yes I have over 4 sensors) each to let them know that their tire sensors read 2lbs over Checked the Motion Pro sensors for accuracy. . Once I receive an RMA, I can send it back to the respective manufacturer. am i crazy or what? Conclusion - I bought an expensive tire gauge that would look great on my garage wall tool rack. (Actually doesn't look great anymore because of the ugly thread seal tape!) Suggestion: Get a Longacre, Joes Racing or Intercomp.
