Everything seems to be fine. The only drawback is that neither the remote control nor the user manual were included. The online manual says that most of the things I want to do (switch from VHS to DVD) require a remote control to bring up different options. When purchasing this item, remember that you will also need a remote control, TV screen and HDMI cable. Also, the online manual states that only certain brands of DVD are guaranteed to work.
