Frayed ends make loading very difficult

I liked this article. It holds up well if you thread the strap through the buckle, but the ends were frayed when we received the straps. I chose to use a lighter to melt the frayed ends but because of the buckle it happens again after a few uses. It's very annoying trying to tie two 11 foot paddleboards to the roof of your car in 98 degree heat when you are 5ft 3 inches tall. for a new product that I just received a few weeks ago. I reported the problem to the seller and he made no attempt to resolve it. He will most likely return.
