This mounting plate worked well with little tools on my end due to my car. I drive a 2006 Mazda 6 that was purchased in Pennsylvania where front license plates are not required. However, having recently moved to Massachusetts where a front license plate is required, I needed a front license plate bracket as my car did not have one installed. Due to the inaccessibility of the front grille to which this mounting plate was intended to be fitted and my reluctance to drill holes in the bumper I simply used black plastic zip ties to attach this plate to the black plastic grille and then used the 4 screws provided to mount it. plate to bracket. I applied some clear acrylic varnish to the screw to slow rusting. It worked well. I gave 4 stars because I wouldn't say I liked the product but I did.
