First Impression: These are the best socks I've ever worn. I was immediately amazed at how soft the socks were when I slipped them over my foot. They feel almost silky and are very comfortable. Fit: I usually wear 7.5W USA women's shoes and this sock size fits me very well without feeling too small or big. The top of the sock did not restrict the legs. I like to wear round socks with the top half rolled up to the ankle. They didn't tie or cut me even after several hours of wearing them this way. The pressure was very pleasant and even. Performance: I use the sock for regular movements, I haven't had a chance to sweat in it yet. However, I felt the sock breathed well and stayed in place. I wore them for many hours but they didn't start to irritate the toes like other socks do after wearing them all day. It doesn't roll anywhere, twist or pinch. I usually buy regular Hanes cotton socks available at stores like Target. I noticed that last time the quality dropped a lot and they annoyed me from the start. A possible problem with them could be that the top is a bit thin. If you expect them to protect your feet, for example when working in the garden, forget it. It is better to wear trousers or some kind of protection on the shin. I was concerned that they would be uncomfortable due to the thinness but they are fine as mentioned above. I think if they were thicker they might not be as comfortable or binding. If so, I'd rather have them as they are. One last weird thought. I love the way Wander is written on the toes so I can tell multiple times which sock goes with which foot. Sometimes when you switch socks between your legs, they lose their shape and don't feel good anymore. Maybe it's just me. My order with this company was perfect and without incident. I will receive more in the future. I thought the price was good for the value I received. I actually felt like I was spending money when I got it, but now I feel like it was worth it.
