So glad I bought this!
This is a pretty solid desktop addition. I actually put mine in the kitchen and use them for tea bags and drink bags. Unpainted but the drawers slide out smoothly in my opinion. Very beautiful. Oh, I don't know if you care, but you can see the contents of the drawers a bit. So if you want to hide content, or if it's visually distracting, you might be a bit bothered. But I love it, I think it's cute and I can see what's in the drawers before I pull them out, but you really won't notice from a few feet away. For me it was a really fun way to share tea bags and put a little drinks stand at the coffee table.
