Solved: NodeMCU Firmware Issues
I have flashed dozens of EPS-01s with NodeMCU but every time I have flashed them they will not boot even if flashed successfully. Normally you flash the ESP01 in QIO mode, at least all the others I've done, but in desperation I tried DOUT (Double Output) mode and they booted right away. I was willing to return them, I even emailed them to support and they were supposed to "check with the tech" but I figured it out first. Nothing has been heard from "Engineer" yet. I'm not sure what "improvements" they mentioned.
