the design is broken but can be fixed

The wood handle cup is 2.25 inch 3.) The air gap around it is 0.375 inch x 2 = 0.75 inch. 44% of the area). 5.) As a result, my mug warmer does NOT keep my coffee hot in this mug. 6.) I fixed it by filling the air gap with epoxy. ....works MUCH better now.7.) Btw, the wooden handle is great....it doesn't get hot. It takes a little getting used to not putting your fingers through the handle, but I like it now...give it time.
