So I bought this because I forgot my mounting plate at home while working remotely and wanted to upgrade to a premium air cooler in my production environment. It does what it's advertised to be, a good replacement and a good match for AMD4 style motherboards. However, the screw holes are slightly smaller than the MB. Therefore, for some top-end air coolers, you may need to purchase longer screws as the screws that come with the kit are not long enough. Mounting screw #6 from 7/8" to 1" length is sufficient for the Be Quiet Black Rock Pro Cooler that I installed here. This length is sufficient to accommodate all covers and brackets included in the kit. The 3/4 'mounting screws' 'work' but they are small and I wouldn't trust them. I assume you'll need to do this for other larger air coolers like the Noctua and other similar coolers too. If you have smaller ones Set up screw holes, everything works great.But you need to know about it.
