Review on πŸš— Enhanced Playmags Stronger Car Set: Exciting Pieces for Endless Fun by Ron Patel

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very important. Strong magnet.

Magnatiles is a NAMED Brand. You can rest assured that they are the safest when it comes to chemical composition (BPA-free, lead-free, etc.). They have rivets, not just glue, to hold the magnets in place. You have a wide range of colors, especially with different sets. They have fun details like doors and stairs. Their isosceles triangles actually form perfect circles, unlike many other brands. However, they are expensive. Their magnets are also smaller than some of the newer brands including Playmags. Playmags have larger/stronger magnets and are cheaper. I am attaching a photo for comparison. Playmag's isosceles triangles cannot form circles, so they cannot represent pizzas, cakes, pies, etc. Playmags doesn't seem to make the chemistry that explicit. Magnatiles and Playmags are stronger than Picasso and have rivets in the corners for extra durability. unlike Picasso. I heard that Playmags magnet strength is the same as Connetix. Connetix could be a bit stronger. However, Connetix is not flat, which makes it less suitable for playing with cars/animals etc. Don't go for obscure brands of toy magnets as they can pose a safety hazard. Magnetic tiles are great fun for children. This is the first toy that sparked truly independent play in our home and they are so open. I would recommend at least 100 pieces per child. This is a great set. Good that there is an idea book in the kit. There is also a magnetic tile ideas group on FB where you can share building ideas.
