I spoke too soon. for Cleaning Tools

I wrote the following review when the brush first came out as I have owned this brush before. But I spoke too soon because it stinks. It literally smells like burnt hair. I understand they probably burn the horsehair to get it the right size, but I can't get rid of the burnt smell. I've tried everything I can think of baking soda, vinegar, airing, airing outdoors etc. I don't think I can use this brush as I can't stand the smell. I contacted the company that makes the brushes but after a week I got no response from them. Sad. I love my bottle brush! It works great for getting to the odd shaped corners and gaps in the jars and bottles I use. I've gone plastic free so I reuse jars a lot and some of them just have a small hole in them. I'm always nervous trying to put my hand in a bottle for fear of an invisible chip or it breaking and cutting my hand. This brush is long enough to reach even my tallest glasses, and its bristles are positioned to clean from all angles. It's larger than the brushes I've used before, so it took me a while to get used to the longer handle, but it's no longer a problem. The ONLY thing I want to change is a small hole drilled in the end of the handle so I can put a loop of cord in there to hang to dry. But I plan to find a drill and fix it myself.
