These are great little pliers. I like rubber "comfort" grips mainly because they insulate. I needed them to work with some electronic equipment that I was repairing with a soldering iron and I wanted to avoid static electricity. As a bonus, the pliers' contact points are smooth, perfect for working with thin wires on electronic devices. All in all, very good pliers.
