Okay, so I spent a lot of time comparing and buying monitors before settling on this one (although I did get them "refurbished" from Amazon for about $85 each). But I wanted to share my opinion. 1.) First of all THIS IS NOT a gaming monitor that you need something at 144Hz which is the new normal. It's 75Hz max. 2.) This is a standard 1080p monitor, which is perfect for most people. I know, I know everyone is crazy about 4K, and if you have the money to drop 3x or 4x on a 4K monitor, do it, but better make sure you have a display port and that your computer can even handle banging 4K quality. But 1080 is fine. This was the standard and will remain so for some time to come. 3.) I was skeptical about this company because it wasn't one of the big brands that I immediately recognized and most of their products are listed well below. competitors. But to be honest they were low and worked great with a very good built in panel full of options and settings. I've googled them a bit and checked Reddit, and they have a solid reputation for being high quality products that get the job done with no frills. 4.) I bought 2 dissertations and was surprised how thin the frame is, very satisfied 5.) POSSIBLE defect! This monitor only has one HDMI and one VGA port. I was concerned that I would see a big difference in quality if one uses HDMI and the other uses VGA, but in my personal experience they look pretty much the same. I'm not even sure I can really tell the difference by looking at the same thing. Photos on both monitors. But that's my personal experience. TLDR: Good quality, you probably don't need 4k so it's standard definition and more than enough for most people. This is not a gaming monitor.
