I bought an expensive shower head and the hose was terrible. It was so stiff that I was afraid the connection to the valve would break. It's not super flexible like I'd like it to be, it's way better than any other I could find. It's very light and non-magnetic, probably made of plastic. But that's what I wanted. Everything in my shower is white plastic and the bottom connector on the hose is chrome, but I don't mind, it's definitely stronger
