Interestingly enough, I purchased it with the intention of using it to shave my beard because the previous two razors (the ones specifically designed for shaving beards) were a total letdown for me, mostly due to the lack of "strength" that they possessed. The machine is able to shave all types of hair in a single motion, including the coarsest and densest varieties. The shaved hair does not become caught anywhere and does not impede subsequent shaving or cutting operations. The nozzle has a range of adjustment that goes from 3 to 21 mm, which is the maximum that I need. By the way, the length of the wire is 2 meters. It was written here that it can be easily unfastened, but this is not entirely true. In order for it to be fixed, you need to apply a certain force until you hear a characteristic click (not a crunch, but a soft click), and once you do that, the wire will most certainly not come loose. One of the minor drawbacks is that the exterior of the case is made of a glossy material. This material is easily soiled by the user's hands, but it can also be easily removed from their skin. In general, I couldn't be happier with the purchase.
