It installed quickly on my headrest. Most car mask holders that I have found are for car vents and only for horizontal vents. I hated having my masks floating around my car and since I'm the only one getting in and out I can put them forward on the passenger side and my masks just hang down with no problem. can be easily put on from behind when there are usually two people in the car and at the same time there is quick access to masks. very convenient. seems sturdy and well made and fits in pockets or purses but not what I wanted them for.
