I used this product for crocheted hats. I used a 5.5mm hook and it worked beautifully. I didn't want tight fabric because they were summer hats and needed to breathe. I ordered all colors and sold my hats as soon as I could make them. The threads are the consistency of straw when not wetted and will hold up to anything but a good soak. Even then, spraying with starch and a blow dryer will bring the shape back. It also stretches to fit most heads. The only problem was that there isn't much black in stock and I get a lot of requests for this color for fall hats. I'll keep looking to see what colors are available.
