We bought this for our Shitzu, it weighs about 15 pounds. It fits her perfectly and when thrown in the lake she floats. We are very happy with this product and we have noticed that our dog feels more confident in the kayak, in the boat or we have even taken her snorkel with us. It's a little pooch with a doggy attitude :) We didn't notice the zipper came loose and it's nice that it has an adjustable chest strap. The handles looked really sturdy and the zipper was smooth. There were no issues with the neck area and the fact that she kept her head above water.
