As a painter I'm always looking for new product lines. to try out. At a little over thee bucks a roll it's a good price for a small quantity. It has to be pressed and rubbed more than most in order for it to stick but once it's on it holds fairly well. On a smooth surface there was some minor bleeding so it won't leave a good line anywhere at all . It has a tendency to tear and shred during removal which is annoying and takes longer than it should. It didn't leave any residue behind. It ended up being used to hold plastic drop cloths in place to protect from overspray. You're better off using scotch 2020 tape if you need a low price masking tape.After I posted this review the company sent me the instructions on the use of this tape two times. I personally use a dozen rolls or more a week and purchase more than 2000 rolls a year for my crews. As a painter with over 20yrs of experience I'm think I know how to used masking tape correctly and found it insulting that they sent me the instructions a second time
